BuyBotPro Review: Auto-Sourcing for Online Arbitrage

1. What Is BuyBotPro and Why Am I Reviewing It

BuyBotPro is a Chrome extension that sits on top of Amazon and retail websites and auto-analyzes products as you browse. You see a listing, it pulls the BSR, FBA fees, estimated sales velocity, and net profit in real time. No manual Keepa lookups, no calculator tab.

I've been doing online arbitrage full-time since 2019. I currently move six figures a month through my FBA account, and I've tested every major sourcing tool on the market. BuyBotPro came up constantly from my students in The Scaling Society, so I spent 90 days running it as my primary analysis layer and tracking the results.

This review covers the real numbers: leads per day, net margins, false positives, and whether it stacks well with the other tools I recommend in my complete online arbitrage guide.

2. The Core Problem BuyBotPro Solves

When you're doing online arbitrage at scale, manual analysis kills your momentum. You find a product on Target.com, open Keepa in another tab, pull the BSR history, open an FBA fee calculator, do the math, check if you're gated. That's 4 to 6 minutes per product.

At 10 products per hour you're looking at maybe 60 to 80 potential leads in a full sourcing session. Most of them won't pan out. That math doesn't work if you're trying to build a real business.

BuyBotPro compresses that workflow. You browse, it analyzes. The goal is to surface go/no-go decisions in under 30 seconds so you can move fast enough to actually hit volume.

3. BuyBotPro Pricing: What You Actually Pay

BuyBotPro runs $34/month for the standard plan. There's an annual option that brings it down to roughly $24/month. They also sell a "Go" tier at around $14/month, but it strips out the auto-sourcing features that make the tool worth using.

Pay for the full plan or don't bother. The Go tier is a lite Chrome extension with no lead-finding capability. The standard plan is where the auto-sourcing engine lives.

For context: if you find one product per week that does $300 in profit, BuyBotPro pays for itself in the first deal of month one. The ROI math is not complicated.

4. How the Auto-Sourcing Feature Actually Works

BuyBotPro has a feature called "OA Deals" (previously marketed as the Deal Finder). It's a database of pre-analyzed leads the BuyBotPro team sources and pushes to subscribers. Think of it as a shared lead list, except the algorithm does the filtering before it hits your screen.

Each lead shows: the source store, the Amazon ASIN, the buy price, the Amazon price, estimated net profit, ROI%, BSR, and sales rank history. You can filter by ROI, profit floor, category, and BSR range.

I set my filters to: minimum $5 net profit, minimum 30% ROI, BSR under 150,000 in main category. In a typical session I'd see 15 to 40 leads that passed those filters.

That quote is from when I first went deep on the tool. My position hasn't changed. The lead database is the main reason to pay for BuyBotPro.

5. 90-Day Results: Real Numbers From My Account

Over 90 days I tracked every BuyBotPro lead I acted on. Here's what the data showed:

• Total leads reviewed: 1,847
• Leads that passed my manual 2-minute vetting: 214
• Orders placed: 89
• Average net profit per unit: $9.40
• Average ROI per order: 38%
• Total profit from BuyBotPro leads: $4,110 over the 90 days

That's $4,110 gross profit off a $34/month tool. The 90-day cost was $102. Even after you account for the time I spent vetting (roughly 3 to 4 hours per week), the return is strong.

The 214 leads that passed manual vetting versus 1,847 total is the number people don't talk about. A lot of leads in the database are stale, repriced out, or in categories with IP complaint risk. You still need to vet. BuyBotPro shortens the list, not the judgment.

6. The Chrome Extension for Live Sourcing

Separate from the OA Deals database, BuyBotPro includes a Chrome extension you use while actively browsing retail sites. You land on a product page, the extension overlays profit data directly on screen.

It pulls: current Amazon price, FBA fees, estimated profit, ROI, BSR, number of sellers, and a "go/no-go" signal based on thresholds you configure. You can set your minimum ROI and minimum profit floor in settings so the overlay auto-colors green or red.

This is where the speed gains are most obvious. I can browse a clearance section on Walmart.com and get go/no-go signals without opening a single new tab. What used to take 5 minutes takes under 30 seconds.

One thing I do that accelerates this further: I buy discounted gift cards before sourcing sessions. As I covered in another video:

Stack a 5% to 8% gift card discount on top of a BuyBotPro-identified deal and your net margin jumps fast. On a product showing $11.20 net in BuyBotPro, a 7% gift card discount on a $30 buy price adds another $2.10. Now you're at $13.30 net on the same unit.

7. BuyBotPro vs Tactical Arbitrage: Which One Wins

This is the question I get the most. Tactical Arbitrage ($89/month) runs automated scans across hundreds of sites and dumps raw matches into a spreadsheet. BuyBotPro ($34/month) gives you a curated lead list plus a live analysis overlay.

They do different things. Tactical Arbitrage is a sourcing engine. BuyBotPro is an analysis and curation layer. The best operators I know use both.

If you're just starting out and can only afford one: start with BuyBotPro. The OA Deals database gives you leads without needing to set up and manage Tactical Arbitrage scans, which has a steep learning curve. Once you're clearing $3,000 to $5,000/month profit, add Tactical Arbitrage on top.

8. What BuyBotPro Gets Wrong

I want to be straight here because this is a real review, not an affiliate pitch. BuyBotPro has problems.

Stale leads. The OA Deals database refreshes, but not always fast enough. I've clicked through to products where the Amazon price has already dropped 15% since the lead was posted. The margin that looked like $9 net is now $1.80. Always verify the live Amazon price before ordering.

BSR estimates can lag. BuyBotPro uses its own sales velocity model. It doesn't always match what you see in Keepa's 90-day chart. I cross-reference with Keepa on anything above $200 buy price before committing capital.

IP complaint risk isn't flagged. BuyBotPro won't tell you if a brand is known for issuing complaints to resellers. You need to check that yourself or use a separate brand vetting process.

The UI is dense. The extension overlays a lot of information on screen at once. New sellers often feel overwhelmed. It takes a week or two before the interface becomes second nature.

9. Who Should Actually Buy BuyBotPro

BuyBotPro is the right tool if you check at least two of these boxes:

• You're doing online arbitrage and sourcing actively at least 3 sessions per week.
• You want a managed lead list you can filter and act on without building your own sourcing system from scratch.
• You're comfortable vetting 10 to 20 leads per session and making buy/no-buy calls.
• You're already clearing $1,000/month or have capital to buy into inventory consistently.

BuyBotPro is the wrong tool if:

• You don't have a repricer in place. You'll buy deals that rot while you watch competitors undercut you.
• You're not gated in the categories showing the best leads. A lot of the high-ROI leads in the database hit Health, Beauty, and Grocery. Make sure you're ungated before expecting to act on them.

10. How to Set Up BuyBotPro in 20 Minutes

Install the Chrome extension from the BuyBotPro website. Connect your Amazon Seller Central account using your MWS credentials (they walk you through this in the onboarding flow). Set your default cost inputs: inbound shipping rate per pound, prep center fee if applicable, and target ROI floor.

Then open the OA Deals tab. Set your filters: I recommend starting with 30% ROI minimum, $5 profit minimum, BSR under 200,000. That will give you a manageable lead list without filtering out too aggressively early on.

Spend your first three sessions just reviewing leads without buying. Get a feel for which categories you're seeing, what price ranges come up, and which leads pass when you manually verify on Keepa. Don't buy anything until you've done at least 5 hours of vetting practice.

Once you're buying, track every order in a spreadsheet: source, buy price, Amazon price at time of purchase, BuyBotPro estimated net, actual net after fees. That data will tell you within 30 days whether your filter settings are dialed in or need adjustment.

11. Stacking BuyBotPro With Your Other Tools

Here's my current software stack for online arbitrage, in order of importance:

1. BuyBotPro ($34/month) - lead database and live analysis overlay
2. Keepa ($21/month) - price history and BSR validation
3. Repricer ($50 to $150/month depending on SKU count) - automated repricing
4. Tactical Arbitrage ($89/month) - automated sourcing scans for additional coverage
5. SellerAmp ($14/month) - mobile scanning when I'm physically near stores

BuyBotPro sits at the top because it's the one I use every single sourcing session. Keepa is the validation layer I run before committing. The repricer is non-negotiable once you have live inventory.

Total monthly tool spend: roughly $208 to $308 depending on which repricer tier you're on. On a $10,000+ profit month, that's 2% to 3% overhead. Completely worth it.

12. BuyBotPro Review Verdict

BuyBotPro is worth $34/month if you're actively doing online arbitrage. The OA Deals lead database alone justifies the cost if you work it consistently. The Chrome extension overlay makes live sourcing materially faster.

It's not perfect. Leads go stale. The BSR model isn't Keepa. You still need to vet. But it cuts the time cost of finding and analyzing products by 60% to 70% compared to doing it manually. For anyone trying to scale past $5,000/month, that time savings compounds hard.

My rating: 4.1 out of 5. Strong core product with a few rough edges that haven't been fixed in two years.
