1. What AZInsight Is
AZInsight is a Chrome extension from AsinZen for Amazon and Walmart sellers. You open a product page and it overlays fees, profit, restrictions and risk checks so you can decide on a buy without switching tabs.
It competes with SellerAmp and RevSeller for the same spot in your browser: the scanner you open on every lead. Everything below comes from the vendor's own site at asinzen.com. No made-up ratings.
2. The Feature List
AsinZen lists these tools in AZInsight:
- A profit calculator for Amazon FBA and FBM, plus Walmart WFS and FBM
- A Seller Restrictions Checker
- A Hazmat Checker, included on both plans
- A Stock Checker and a Variations Viewer
- Brand Notification Alerts
- ASIN historical data and trends
- Sales and revenue estimates on the Advanced plan
On Walmart, AsinZen says only the profit calculator works for now, and only on the US marketplace.
3. Plans and Prices
Prices as AsinZen listed them when we checked in October 2026:
- Starter: $7.95 a month or $59.95 a year
- Advanced: $19.95 a month, or $149.95 a year (a coupon dropped it to $114.95 at the time)
AsinZen offers a 30-day free trial with no card required, plus a 14-day money-back guarantee after the trial. That makes it one of the cheapest scanners to test. Confirm current prices on the AsinZen site before you sign up.
4. The Restrictions Checker Is the Main Event
Buying a product you can't sell is the most expensive mistake in OA. A restrictions checker on the product page stops it before checkout.
Brand risk goes beyond whether Amazon lets you list. Some brands file complaints against resellers, and that can hit your account:
"It's going to be a risk for every brand. Um, and the reason why you want to avoid that, by the way, is because when you get IP complaints, it can lead you to get your account suspended, right? And have to submit uh [...] all that stuff. It's a headache, right?"
The Last Keepa Tutorial You Will Ever Need
Use the Brand Notification Alerts for brands you've had trouble with. For the approval side, read the brand approval guide and how to get ungated.
5. The Hazmat Checker
Hazmat flags catch sellers off guard on aerosols, batteries, some beauty products and cleaners. A unit that gets flagged after you buy it can sit unsellable while you sort out paperwork.
Having the check in both plans is a plus. Treat it as a first filter and confirm anything borderline in Seller Central. The Amazon hazmat review guide covers what to do when a listing gets flagged.
6. Feeding the Profit Calculator Right in 2026
Any calculator knows Amazon's referral and fulfillment fees. It doesn't know your costs. In 2026 your costs include a few things older guides skip:
- Labels: Amazon stopped US prep and item labeling on January 1, 2026, and ended commingling on March 31, 2026. Resellers put an FNSKU on every unit, so add your label or prep center cost.
- Inbound placement: Send to Amazon shows the fee for a minimal split. Amazon-optimized splits carry no placement fee. Add whatever you pay per unit.
- Peak season: fulfillment fees rise for the holiday period, so recheck margins on Q4 buys.
The FBA fees guide and the inbound placement fee guide cover each one.
7. AZInsight vs SellerAmp vs RevSeller
All three do the same core job. The choice comes down to speed on your machine, how the data is laid out, and price.
"We're going to use RevSeller, which is the the extension that I use most of the time as of today to actually calculate what my profit is, right?"
The Real Cost of FBM Shipping (Most Amazon Sellers Get It Wrong)
That's my daily driver, so I'm not neutral here. AZInsight wins on price and on having a hazmat check in its cheapest plan. SellerAmp shows up in a lot of OA tutorials, some of mine included. Compare them in the RevSeller vs SellerAmp breakdown and the SellerAmp review.
8. What a Scanner Can't Do
A scanner judges a lead you already found. It doesn't find the lead. Your weekly profit depends on how many good leads reach the scanner.
Full disclosure: I built Arbitrage Stalker to feed that funnel. It tracks competitor storefronts and alerts you when they add products. You still run each one through a scanner like AZInsight before you buy.
For the full lead-finding side, read the guide to finding profitable OA products.
9. How to Test It During the Free Trial
Thirty days gives you room for a fair test:
- Run your next 50 leads through AZInsight and your current scanner side by side
- Log every case where the restrictions or hazmat result differed
- Time how long each tool takes to load on a product page
- Compare profit figures on five ASINs against your actual settlement after they sell

AZInsight is worth the subscription if you want a cheap scanner with restrictions and hazmat checks built in. Starter covers most beginners. Advanced adds sales estimates, which you can also read off Keepa.
If you already pay for SellerAmp or RevSeller and like it, switching saves a few dollars and costs you retraining. Run the trial before you decide. The online arbitrage pillar shows where the scanner fits in the full workflow.
