1. What Storefront Stalking Is
Storefront stalking means picking Amazon sellers who source the way you do, watching what they list, and checking whether you can buy the same products for a profit. Their storefront becomes your lead list.
It's a form of reverse sourcing: you start from a product someone already proved sells, then go find where to buy it. The broader method sits inside the online arbitrage guide.
2. A Warning for Brand-New Sellers
"You've been lied to. You've been told that if you want to find your first product on Amazon, you should use this tool and look at what other people are selling by scrolling down, going there on their storefront, and stalking what they sell. I'm going to tell you straight up, as a beginner, you are not going to find your first product this way. It's going to be way too hard."
Give me 5min, I'll help you find your first Amazon product
Storefronts show you what sold weeks ago, and a lot of those deals are gone by the time you look. For your first product, retailer sales and clearance get you there faster. Start with how to find profitable OA products, then add storefronts once you can analyze a lead in under a minute.
3. Finding Storefronts Worth Following
Start from a product you already know is profitable. Open the offers on that listing and look at the other FBA sellers. They bought the same deal you did, so they likely source from the same places.
"Let me find him. You know, just by hovering over the buy box right there. I'm going to find people that have really low reviews like this guy, Rainforest Global Sales, right? And I'm going to click on it and right here."

Sellers with fewer reviews are often smaller OA operations buying the same kind of retail deals you can buy. Big sellers with warehouse teams buy in volumes you can't match and tend to wipe out the deal first.
4. Sort the Storefront in Keepa
"And then what we're going to do is we're going to open them up one by one on Keepa. The reason why I use Keepa instead of SellerAmp to do storefront stalking is because with Keepa it's really really easy to actually sort all the products based on how fast they sell. And it's way easier to load all the products because SellerAmp will load the same products over and over again."
What's the BEST Amazon FBA Sourcing Strategy for Beginners?
Load the seller's products in Keepa and sort by sales rank so the fastest movers sit on top. Skip the rest. Setup is in the Keepa Chrome extension tutorial, and the Keepa vs CamelCamelCamel comparison explains why Keepa is the one to pay for here.
5. Check Each Product Fast
For each product near the top, you want a yes or no in under a minute:
- Can your account sell it? Check eligibility first, as covered in how to check if you can sell a product.
- Is the buy box price holding, or did it drop after this seller listed?
- How many FBA sellers are on it now, and is that number climbing?
- Is Amazon itself on the listing?
If it passes, find the source. Search the product name or UPC at the retailers you already buy from, and check your daily list of sales. Fees and profit come next in your calculator.
6. Storefront Stalking in Late October
Late October storefronts show you what other sellers are buying for Q4. The products they list now are their bets on November and December.
That's useful and risky. Useful because you see Q4 demand early. Risky because a dozen sellers might be making the same bet, and the price can drop as their stock lands. Check how the listing behaved last November in Keepa before you follow.
Also check your timing. Our guidance is to get Q4 stock into FBA by November 20, with December 1 as the last call. A seasonal product you buy today has to clear your prep center and Amazon check-in in that window. More in the Q4 sourcing guide and, for decor, selling Christmas decorations on Amazon.
7. Build a Target List of Sellers
Keep a list of 15 to 20 storefronts and work through a few each day so you check every one about once a week. A spreadsheet works: seller name, seller ID, the categories they buy, the date you last checked, and notes on their style.
Drop sellers who stop adding new products or who only list things you can't sell. Add new ones from the offers on every good deal you find. If you hand this to a VA, the steps are in training a VA to source OA.

"And let me show you a quick trick. You're just going to get into ChatGPT. And you're going to take this and boom, you're going to ask them, hey, output all the seller IDs separated by a space for the sellers that have less than five reviews. Okay, let's do this."

Copy the offers data from a listing, paste it into ChatGPT, and ask for the seller IDs that match your filter. You get a clean list to paste into your tracker or tool instead of clicking through sellers one at a time.
9. Automating the Watch
Checking 20 storefronts by hand works, but you only see a new product when you get around to that seller. By then other people may have found it too.
"So I created a monitor on Arbitrage Stalker. If you do not know Arbitrage Stalker, it's a product, a software that I created to help you track sellers on Amazon and be notified whenever they add a new product. Right?"
This Online Arbitrage Sourcing Method is GOATED | Live Online Arbitrage Sourcing Amazon FBA
I built Arbitrage Stalker, so weigh my opinion with that in mind. Its storefront monitoring alerts you when a tracked seller adds a product. Tactical Arbitrage also has a storefront scan, covered in the Tactical Arbitrage review. Pick whichever fits your budget. The method matters more than the tool.
10. Mistakes That Waste Your Time
- Following giant sellers whose deals were gone before you saw them.
- Buying a product because it's in a storefront without checking whether the price held.
- Skipping the eligibility check and finding out after the order lands.
- Spending ten minutes on a lead that fails the first filter. Reject fast and move on.
Every one of these comes from treating a storefront as proof instead of a starting point. The beginner OA mistakes post covers more.
11. Where It Fits in Your Week
Storefronts work best as one source among several. Mix them with retailer sales from your daily list and any scans you run, so a slow day on one source doesn't stop your buying.
See how it fits into a full day in the OA daily routine, and how to turn leads into a steady pipeline in build your OA buy list fast.
12. Next Steps
Pick three storefronts from your last good deal and work them this week. These posts help:

- How to Read Keepa Graphs - check if the price held before you follow
- Check If You Can Sell a Product - the first filter on every lead
