Chris Mangunza review: is he legit?
An honest look at The Scaling Society: what you get, student results on camera, who should skip it, and how to check me without taking my word for it.
I wrote this review myself
I'm Chris. You searched my name with "review" after it, so you're about to trust me with money or time and you want proof first. Good call.
I'm biased, so I kept this page to things you can check: the evidence, the downsides, and the places to verify me without me in the room.
The short answer
- I sell on Amazon every day. My Amazon business pays my bills. Coaching comes second.
- You can test my teaching for free. I've posted over 1,000 tutorials on YouTube. Watch a few before you pay me a dollar.
- My students show their faces. They give their names and cities on camera. Their interviews sit further down this page.
- Most people who buy a course don't do the work. That includes some of my members. The results below come from the members who did, and they aren't typical.
What The Scaling Society is
The Scaling Society is my coaching program for online arbitrage and Amazon FBA. You learn my sourcing system: finding products on retail sites that sell for more on Amazon, checking them with Keepa, getting ungated in restricted brands and categories, repricing, and keeping your account healthy.
Members get coaching calls, a private community, and support from George Icalos, who runs Student Success. You do the buying in your own seller account. We teach you and check your work.
Student results, on camera
Start with Diego. He sat down to walk through what changed for him inside the program.
"The systems and tools changed everything for my business. I went from barely getting by to doing over two million in revenue in a single year. This is the real deal."
"Started from zero with no Amazon experience. The coaching calls and community gave me everything I needed to hit $15K in my third month. I wish I had started sooner."
"I never thought I'd do six figures in a single month. The arbitrage system and Chris's strategy playbook made it happen faster than I ever imagined possible."
Tijuana had paid for other Amazon coaching programs and never made a sale. She showed up skeptical and left a doubting comment. I challenged her to run the beginner playbook, and three weeks later she posted her first sale in our community. Watch her interview on YouTube.
Ernie, Leticia, Jennel, Cristian, Fernando and more tell their stories on the testimonials page, next to years of sales screenshots.
These are my best students, not the average member. Your results depend on your budget, your hours and whether you follow the system. See the earnings disclaimer at the bottom of this page.
Who should skip it
- You have no money for inventory. Coaching costs money, and you need separate cash to buy products. With less than about $1,000 for inventory, you'll buy a few units at a time and wait weeks for each turn. My startup cost breakdown has the real numbers.
- You want passive income. Sourcing takes daily work, most of all in your first months.
- You want someone to run your store. We teach and review. You buy the products and run the account.
- You can't stomach Amazon risk. Sellers deal with IP complaints, gated brands and account holds. I've dealt with complaints and holds on my own accounts, and I teach how to handle them. I can't make Amazon risk-free for you or anyone else.
What it costs
Pricing depends on the level of support you want. My team covers it on a strategy call after you apply, so you hear the price and what it includes before you pay anything.
Check me yourself
- Watch three videos on my YouTube channel. If my teaching doesn't click there, coaching won't fix that.
- Read the free guides on the blog, starting with the online arbitrage guide.
- Run a product through the free FBA profit calculator.
- Watch the full member interviews on the testimonials page.
- Come to the free training and ask me anything.
Disclosure: I built Arbitrage Stalker, a sourcing tool. When I recommend it, weigh that in.

Is The Scaling Society a scam?
No. The Scaling Society is Chris Mangunza's coaching program. Members get Chris's sourcing system, coaching calls, a private community and support from George Icalos, who runs Student Success. It fits people with money for inventory and time to source each day. It does not fit anyone looking for passive income.

Yes. Chris sells on Amazon every day, and his Amazon business is his main income.
How much does The Scaling Society cost?

How much money do I need to start online arbitrage?
Plan for inventory money on top of any coaching. With less than about $1,000 for inventory, progress is slow. Chris's guide on how much money you need to start Amazon FBA breaks down the numbers.

Did Chris Mangunza create Arbitrage Stalker?
Yes. Chris built Arbitrage Stalker, a sourcing tool that tracks the products competing Amazon sellers add to their storefronts.
