1. Helium 10 Launched an MCP in July 2026

Helium 10 launched its MCP in July 2026. The Helium 10 MCP launch post describes it as a way to bring your Helium 10 data into AI tools.

Per Helium 10, it works with Claude, Claude Code, Cursor and ChatGPT. You ask a question in the chat, and the assistant pulls the answer from your Helium 10 account instead of making something up.

Never heard of MCP? What an MCP server is explains it in plain English.

2. What the Helium 10 MCP Exposes

Helium 10 lists five areas of data the MCP covers:

  • Keyword research
  • Ads
  • Rank tracking
  • Profitability
  • Inventory

That's Helium 10's core product, moved into a chat window. If you already live inside Helium 10, you can ask "which keywords lost rank this week?" or "how did my ad spend change month over month?" without clicking through dashboards.

3. Check Your Plan Before You Count On It

Helium 10's own docs don't agree on which plan gets the MCP. The launch post says Diamond. The Helium 10 help center article says Elite or higher.

I'm not going to guess which one is right. Log into your Helium 10 account and look for the MCP connector, or ask Helium 10 support, before you upgrade a plan for it. Plan names and gates change, and the help center and the blog may get updated at different times.

4. Where the Helium 10 MCP Shines: Private Label

Keyword research and ads data are private label tools. If you own a brand, you pick the keywords for your listing, you track where you rank for them, and you spend on ads to climb. Having all of that in a chat is a real time saver.

A private label seller could ask Claude to compare keyword rank against ad spend and flag the terms where they pay for clicks but don't rank. That's a question that normally takes a spreadsheet and an afternoon.

If you're weighing Helium 10 against its main rival, read Helium 10 vs Jungle Scout. Jungle Scout's official MCP is reportedly limited to its Cobalt enterprise tier, with unofficial community servers filling the gap.

5. Profitability and Inventory for Your Own Catalog

The profitability and inventory side helps any seller, arbitrage included, once products are in your account. Asking "which SKUs made the least money last month?" in a chat beats exporting reports.

That data covers what you already bought. It doesn't help you decide what to buy next, and that decision is where an arbitrage seller makes or loses money.

6. Where an OA Reseller Needs Something Else

An online arbitrage seller doesn't pick keywords or build listings. You buy branded products at retail and resell them on listings that already exist. Your daily questions sound different:

  • What did the sellers I follow add to their storefronts this week?
  • Can my account sell this brand, or do I need approval?
  • What's my profit and ROI if I buy it at this price?

None of the five areas Helium 10 lists covers competitor storefronts, your account's eligibility or buy-cost math on a retail deal. The next three sections cover what fills each gap.

7. Gap One: Competitor Storefronts

Following other sellers' storefronts is one of the fastest ways to find products that already sell. The reverse sourcing guide walks through the manual version.

"Let's get into the most efficient storefront stalking method for Amazon FBA if you are doing online arbitrage in 2025. Personally, the best software that I like to use to do storefront stalking is Keepa."

How I Find Amazon Products That Make Money Fast!

Doing it by hand works. Doing it every day for every storefront on your list eats your morning, which is why I built storefront tracking into Arbitrage Stalker and put it behind an MCP. More on that below.

8. Gap Two: Eligibility

A product that looks great is worthless if your account can't sell it. Eligibility depends on your own Seller Central account, brand by brand and sometimes ASIN by ASIN.

"I know that it's tempting at the beginning to try to ungate, request brand approval for every category, every brand. The truth is you are going to waste your money at the beginning."

Check first, then decide which approvals are worth chasing. The ungating guide and the restricted brand approval guide cover the approval side. For checking a whole list at once, see how to check Amazon eligibility in bulk.

9. Gap Three: Buy-Cost Profit Math

Arbitrage profit starts with what you pay at the retailer, then subtracts Amazon's fees, your prep cost and your inbound shipping. Get any of those wrong and a winner turns into a loser.

"So, if you haven't been doing it in the past, make sure to track your inventory, your inventory turnover, right? Understand your numbers."

10. Filling the Gaps With a Sourcing MCP

I built the Arbitrage Stalker MCP server for those three gaps. Connect it to Claude or ChatGPT and you can ask:

  • "What did my tracked sellers add since yesterday?" It pulls new products from the storefronts you follow, filtered by brand, category, price or rank.
  • "Check these ASINs against my account." Up to 100 at a time, each marked BUY, APPLY with Amazon's approval link, or SKIP. It never submits the approval request for you, since failed attempts count against you.
  • "Is this worth buying at $12?" Profit and ROI from the app's calculator with your saved prep and inbound costs.

Every paid plan includes it, and most tools are free to call. It can't touch your password, billing or Seller Central.

11. Can You Run Both?

Yes. MCP clients like Claude hold several connections at once. A seller who runs private label and arbitrage could keep Helium 10 connected for keywords and ads, and a sourcing MCP connected for storefronts and eligibility, then ask questions that use both.

If you only do arbitrage, I wouldn't upgrade a Helium 10 plan for the MCP alone. Check what your current plan includes first. The best AI tools for Amazon FBA roundup covers the other options, including SmartScout, which markets its own MCP for competitive intel.
